Meet Dr. Wahl

 "I have always loved the phrase "a smile is worth a thousand words," and my goal is to give you a smile that brings out the best version of you! I grew up in an orthodontic family - my father, brother, and uncle are all orthodontists. Orthodontics is part of who I am, and I knew I wanted to pursue this incredible profession from a young age. I enjoy getting to know our patients and their families and watch them gain confidence in who they are with the achievement of a beautiful smile. I am excited to be part of the Jacksonville community and I look forward to seeing you and making your dream smile a reality!"

Education:

Dr. Wahl is a board-certified orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontics and is one of a few board-certified orthodontists in North Florida. 

Dr. Wahl was born and raised in South Florida. She graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Florida. She graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the dental honors society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Upon graduation, she received the "A. Lewis Leo Award," recognizing the individual who personified outstanding professionalism, ethical behavior, and leadership achievements. After obtaining her dental degree, Dr. Wahl completed three years of orthodontic specialty training at the University of Florida, serving as chief resident her final year. During her residency she earned a master’s degree in Dentofacial Orthopedics, studying biomarkers of accelerated orthodontic tooth movement.

Outside of the Office:

When she is not crafting smiles, you can find Dr. Wahl spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves cooking new recipes, sailing, and traveling.
